Harrisburg – Senator John DiSanto (Dauphin/Perry) will host a local event to bring the community and law enforcement together on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in recognition of National Coffee with a Cop Day (https://coffeewithacop.com/national-cwac-day/).
Area residents are invited to stop by St. Thomas Roasters, 5951 Linglestown Road in Linglestown from 7:30 – 9:00 am for a free cup of coffee and to meet with officers from the Lower Paxton Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police.
National Coffee with a Cop Day is a day dedicated to encouraging communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and the public. In addition to police officers, Senator DiSanto will be on hand to discuss law enforcement and criminal justice issues with interested constituents.
“Strong relationships and trust between local law enforcement and the public is essential for a community’s wellbeing. I look forward to providing this forum for my constituents to interact in a casual setting with the dedicated police officers they may see in the area and to discuss with us any concerns or recommendations they may have with regards to law enforcement activities and criminal justice policies.”
