Harrisburg – Senator John DiSanto (Dauphin/Perry) will host a 15th Senatorial District Veterans Appreciation Breakfast on Saturday, October 26 from 8:30 to 10:30 am at the Best Western Premier, The Central Hotel and Conference Center, 800 East Park Drive, Harrisburg. All veterans who live in the 15th District are invited, along with one guest.
In addition to breakfast, the program will consist of patriotic performances, the presentation of colors, an update on legislation regarding veterans’ benefits and resources, and a special keynote speaker affiliated with the Army War College in Carlisle. Several veterans-related groups will also be on hand with display tables to share information.
“As we approach Veterans Day 2019, I wanted to take an opportunity to show our appreciation for the many area military veterans who have sacrificed on behalf of their country,” Senator DiSanto said. “I look forward to thanking our veterans, providing an informative and enjoyable program, and ensuring they understand the benefits and resources available to them.”
