DiSanto to Recognize Hershey’s 125th Anniversary

Harrisburg – Senator John DiSanto (Dauphin/Perry) will be recognizing the 125th Anniversary of The Hershey Company on October 21, 2019 at the State Capitol with a special anniversary resolution to be introduced in the State Senate.

Several executives from The Hershey Company, including US President Todd Tillemans, will attend the senate session beginning at 1:00 pm. A live video stream of the senate proceedings is available at www.pasen.gov.

“Milton S. Hershey founded The Hershey Company in 1894, and 125 years later it has grown to 16,500 employees around the world manufacturing more than 80 brands of snacks generating $7.8 billion in annual revenues,” DiSanto said. “I’m honored to represent the community that Milton Hershey built, and I am proud to sponsor this resolution celebrating The Hershey Company’s 125th Anniversary and legacy of goodness.”

From 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, representatives from The Hershey Company will be in the East Wing Rotunda distributing Hershey’s candy and providing an opportunity for photos with Hershey’s characters. The public is invited to attend.
